A jack of many trades, Madeleine channels her passion for marine ecology into scientific illustration and visual storytelling. Her media of choice varies from watercolor to 35mm film, oil paints, printmaking, and digital photography. She also is passionate about fiber arts and is an avid knitter.

Much of her archive chronicles moments from tide pools in the Isles of Shoals, Maine to the Finger Lakes of Central NY, all the way to the open Pacific. She hopes that this portfolio of her expanding body of work will document her developing expertise and skill in this intersection between field studies and scientific illustration.

She invites viewers to seek out magic in the supposedly mundane world we live in.
